October 2-6
This week we had our 2nd fire drill of the year on Friday. With each passing drill, the students are becoming more comfortable with the process. The weather was rather nice near the end of the week, so we have been out enjoying it with the students. If the weather holds out, we will continue to go outside in the coming week.

| The sand bin remains a central social gathering place in CSSI and a great place to work on social skills. |

| Our hand print trees were the first of two projects we worked on this week, helping to mark the turn into the fall season. This was a good to allow for sensory experimentation, as well as exploring colour combinations. |

| On Friday we created fall colour themed turkeys. We spent time working on cutting and gluing skills (strengthening our fine motor skills). |
